THE LIFE OF THE TOURIST OFFICE
The Quercy Caussadais Community of Communes is in charge of tourism
The tourist office, which consists of two branches located in Caussade and Montpezat-de-Quercy, is responsible for implementing the tourism policy throughout the region, by carrying out actions to develop tourism in the interests of the community. Its main missions are to welcome and inform the public, promote the region, manage its socioprofessional network, support the associations and communities organizing events, and manage the L’Epopée Chapelière museum. The tourist office also helps to develop and promote tourism in collaboration with departmental and regional institutions.
“Tourism and Handicap” certified
In July 2020, the government classified our tourist office as a “Tourism and Handicap” certified establishment for the 4 impairments (hearing, visual, motor and mental), with the support of the departmental tourism agency under the aegis of the Directorate General for Enterprise. This state recognition is a reflection of the team’s commitment to ensuring that people with disabilities have access to tourist information.
Category II tourist office
The Quercy Caussadais Tourist Office obtained its classification as a category II establishment on January 3, 2019.
