Heritage family vacation

Encouraging your children to embrace discovery is a priceless gift.
Visiting a medieval village together, as a family, is a way of taking time to appreciate the true value of the things, the present moment.

With the family

Visit Montpezat-de-Quercy!

To help you, we have prepared a fun walk that you can pick up at the tourist office. You’ll be surprised!
Visit, stroll and enjoy yourselves with Rando’land. Our guide will be happy to show you all the riches of our beautiful town, an ancient medieval village home to a unique treasure: the tapestries hanging in its Collegiate Church.

Guided tours of the village are organized in July and August, and it’s free for children.

Waterside

And because a vacation wouldn’t be a vacation without some water fun, enjoy the open-air pool at the Faillal Leisure Park in July and August, or a family fishing trip at Lac Vert.

A place of celebration

In July and August, the village comes alive and organizes lots of events, including gourmet markets, village festivals, the Blue Trumpet festival, a wine festival and the Marie des Brebis sound and light show.

Regional flavors

Ours is a land of orchards and vineyards, inviting you to discover new flavors, a feast for the eyes and a feast for the taste buds. In both Montpezat-de-Quercy and the nearby communes of Montfermier and Montalzat, farmers will be happy to show you their quality products, because eating well is a tradition here.

Discover our farmers’ markets!

Eating out

In Montpezat-de-Quercy, you have the choice between four restaurants, a pizzeria and an open-air restaurant in July and August,
in addition to a bakery and small supermarket.

Sleeping

A leisure park with entertainment

If you’re in search of simple pleasures and shared experiences, you’ll love the cottages and campsite at the Faillal Leisure Park.

Peace and quiet

If you’d prefer a quieter option, a real haven of peace, you’ll be delighted with the Moulin de Monges on the banks of the Lamboulas, or La Ferme in Molles and its alpacas.
