Lodging tax
How does it work?
The lodging tax must be paid by all tourists staying in commercial tourist accommodation in the Quercy Caussadais region (except in exempt cases). It must be collected at the time of the stay by all the campsites taxed in real terms, provided that a fee is paid. A fixed sum is required from all accommodation providers offering rentals in July and August.
The Quercy Caussadais Community of Communes has chosen to give all lodging tax to the Quercy Caussadais Tourist Office. The sums collected under this lodging tax are allocated to expenses intended to make the region more attractive to tourists (promotion of the destination, tourist development projects) and to make visitors feel more welcome.
Chèques Vacances (vacation vouchers)
Would you like to use Chèques Vacances as a means of payment?
- The ANCV (French vacation voucher agency) provides 51,000 employer organizations with access to Chèques Vacances, representing some 4.5 million beneficiaries (the employees of these organizations), or 11 million when including their families.
- Beneficiaries will want to use their Chèques Vacances. If you sign an agreement with the ANCV, you will be able to accept vacation vouchers as a means of payment at your structure.
- The ANCV will then reimburse these Chèques Vacances.
- The objective of this solidarity approach, and of additional programs aimed at helping people to go on vacation, is to enable as many people as possible to take a vacation by redistributing the management surpluses generated.
How do I sign an agreement with the ANCV?
- Go to the ANCV’s online Service Provider Area.
- Ask to sign up and check your eligibility by clicking on [I want to sign up].
- Keep your login and password provided by the ANCV so that you can log in again to their Service Provider Area.
How can I be reimbursed for the Chèques Vacances received by my customers?
Once you have signed an agreement with the ANCV, you can accept Chèques Vacances as a means of payment. The ANCV will then reimburse you for the Chèques Vacances that you have received. To do so, you have two options:
- Go to the ANCV’s online Service Provider Area and complete the procedure via the Internet
- Send the Chèques Vacances received to the ANCV by mail
